Changeover to QR Invoice

The switch to QR billing is the new standard for written invoicing in Switzerland and affects all companies and private individuals. Are you ready?

The QR bill replaces today's bills with inpayment slips (ISR).

The payment part contains the information required for the execution of a payment in the form of a QR code and is the final part of the harmonization and digitalization of payment transactions according to ISO20022.

The advantages of the QR invoice are:

Harmonisation of the seven payment slips to a QR code.
The QR code contains information that can be used universally
Payment transactions without media discontinuity
The possibility of printing on white standard paper without pre-printing
The QR code contains additional information such as entrepreneur ID, invoice number to the invoice recipient for automatic accounting reconciliation

The use of the inpayment slips (ISR) is still allowed.
As with the introduction of the new payment files according to ISO20022, there is a parallel phase in which both forms are processed.
The parallel operation is planned until 30.09.2022.

Important:
The changeover affects all companies and private individuals.
It makes sense to initialize the changeover as early as possible.
